My Approach

Life can be very challenging at times. We may find ourselves feeling overwhelmed or at an impasse, unable to make a decision on how to move forward. I'm committed to helping my clients sort out what has led them to this place, and learn strategies and ways of framing things that help them to move forward. My approach is collaborative, warm, strength based and adapted to each individual. We all have the capacity to grow, even when facing  some of the most difficult or life changing experiences. Therapy can help us to learn how to stay more engaged in life, even when things feel out of our control.

I offer individual therapy to adolescents and adults utilizing approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, which incorporates modern cognitive behavioral techniques, mindfulness and the development of self-compassion. People seek help from me for a variety of concerns, such as anxiety, eating disorders, relationship difficulties, depression, women's health issues such as infertility and adjustment to losses or transitions. I accept Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance and private pay. Appointments are available in person or virtually on a HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform.
